As an IT person I tend to tell people, not to click on links that you don't trust or don't click on links that look suspicious. Here is a site called "ShadyURL.com" that is designed to make URL's look suspicious. It's kind of like the URL shorteners that twitter use, but instead of making your URL short, it makes it shady.
