This may be one of the best dumb crook stories I've seen yet. As opposed to a clever disguise or breaking in during the dark, these guys used a permanent marker to avoid being identified. There's several problems with this that I won't go into. If a picture is worth a thousand words, the mugshot should say all that needs to be said. I'll just say, the moral of the story is, kids, if you're going to take the road of a life of crime, leave alcohol out of it.
