Pumpking Paddl'n for Charity

Here is a great story about a guy who is paddling a 760 lb pumpkin through water for charity. On the link there is a video of not only him taking this thing out in the water, but of him carving it out. I wonder, just where you get such a large pumpkin, and what gives you the idea to make a boat out of it. Some may say he's out of his gourd, but he's doing good deeds with it.

Buddy of mines Grandfather use to grow extremely large pumpkins. I normally called them giant, but i dont think they ever came close to 1500lbs. But they were still good sized. Took 3 men to move some of them. I think there was even one that got left in the garden because no one could move it. Needless to say, my buddy always had the best jack-o-lanterns. :D
